ULTRA - University of Ljubljana for a Sustainable Society - Pilot projects for higher education reform for a green and resilient transition

The investment aims to implement 11 pilot projects focusing on curricular renewal of 29 higher professional study programmes at University of Ljubljana.

By systematically monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the pilot projects, which will develop and test different ways of redesigning higher education professional study programmes, including the provision of appropriate learning environments, the University will ensure sufficient digital skills and competences for sustainable development and contribute to accelerating the green and digital transition to Society 5.0.

The University will develop a set of possible actions for systemic change in view of pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals and a successful digital transition at the level of the University as well as its members, while also proposing appropriate actions at national level.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 24 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 26 million. 

The projects started in July 2022 and will be finalised by December 2025.
