The project is part of the reform "Transformation of universities to adapt to new forms of learning and changing needs of the labour market", which aims to initiate and accelerate the transformation of universities in terms of content and forms of teaching.
In terms of content, the range of study programmes will be adapted to new trends and the changing needs of the labour market, in particular the digital transformation.
The academic focus of existing degree programmes will also be adapted to include a significant proportion of work-based learning to better respond to labour market needs.
The reform will also facilitate the transition to new, mainly digital forms of learning (blended learning, distance learning).
Measures will also focus on developing those capacities that would enable universities to provide retraining and up-skilling courses, especially for workers in knowledge-intensive areas.
The project itself is divided into 5 specific objectives, the gradual implementation of which will lead to the fulfilment of the vision of ČZU as a university with a digital campus, the creation of a new study programme ""Precision Agriculture"", the digitisation of activities related to the provision of educational activities and administrative tasks associated with the study agenda, ensuring comprehensive security of distance learning forms or the issuance of digital documents of study, ensuring their verifiability.
The project is financially supported with CZK 175,825,787 through the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
