Students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava have been using the SIMLEK simulation centre as a training hospital for two years. In the two-storey building in Ostrava-Vítkovice, which resembles a real hospital in its equipment. The SIMLEK simulation centre has an emergency room, an intensive care unit with modern equipment, an operating room and a delivery room. However it lacks patients, who have been replaced by high-tech simulators. The center is outfitted with the same medical equipment used in real hospital care (equipment directly related to the provision of hospital care, as well as equipment from the pre-hospital care section). The only difference is that the "patients" here are sophisticated modern simulators, allowing students to safely practice and refine various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Additional media: https://lf.osu.cz/sim/fotogalerie/Additional links:https://www.fno.cz/...
