Thermal renovation of the university residence in Evry

The building Le bosquet aux renards, built between 1983 and 1988, is in a state of disrepair and is a thermal sieve (label E). The renovation project consists in transforming the 97 former rooms of 10 m2 into 86 one-bedroom apartments of 18 m2, corresponding to current standards of comfort. Thermal renovation is at the heart of the project, which is focused on the replacement of existing exterior joinery, insulation of windows, walls and roof, installation of thermostatic regulators on all radiators, etc. Once completed, the building will present savings of 56% in energy consumption and a climate label of C., Savings in terms of Greenhouse gas emissions are estimated at 44 kg of CO2/m2/year. Works are on-going and due to be finalised by August 2023.
