Thermal Energy@Swarovski

The aim is to replace 2 gas/oil-fired steam boilers and a CHP unit with 2 new electric hot water generators. Gas will be replaced by electricity from renewable energy sources. This will make it possible to generate annually approx. 8,000 MWh of heat without emissions. The annual savings in greenhouse gas emissions are expected to amount to 2,098 tons after completion of the project. The project is currently in the construction phase.
