Těšín theatre and cultural centre

The main goal of the project is to upgrade the Těšín Theatre into a multidisciplinary regional creative centre - the Těšín Theatre and Cultural Centre, which will combine theatre, library, observatory, educational centre and theatre craft workshops.

At the same time, it will connect entities from the public sphere (contributory cultural organisations, primary and secondary schools, universities, etc.), independent non-profit sector and the business sector.

The existing building of the Těšín Theatre will be reconstructed as part of the project and in the new space it will offer more cultural services beyond the current activities not only to the citizens of the Těšín catchment area.

The focus of the centre will be mainly on the young generation and cultural and educational activities.
