The goal of the investment is to build and test a prototype for telemetry and build and test a prototype of a user experience analytics module.Through an integrated approach, the project will address circular and sustainability principles in the development of laboratory software by:1. Energy efficiency of software development. The market for laboratory devices is an increasing need to better understand end-users and enable them to operate sustainably. Based on the data obtained from telemetry and analytics of user experience, the recipient will be able to make informed decisions, leading to shorter cycles of developing new or upgrading existing products and services, reducing the use of resourses by laboratory equipment manufacturers and reducing hazardous waste such as reagents, chemicals, consumables and electronic waste. In other industries, tlemetry is widely used and with FlowTrack the recipient will also introduce this approach into the development of laboratory software.2. User involvement in the software design and definition phase using telemetry and user experience analytics. The data generated will contribute to understanding the use phase and, consequently, to the potential for optimisation of the software to reduce the environmental impact. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 90,000, while the total value of the investment is EUR 156,000. The project started in December 2023 and will be finalised by June 2026. ReferenceC1.K5.IBProject locations Slovenia EU contribution€90 000 Project websitehttps://www.kgl.si...
