Copyright: Adobe stock The Recovery and Resilience Facility is investing EUR 3,983 million in Bulgaria to increasing its capacity in information modelling of buildings to plan, construct and maintain buildings more efficiently.As a result of the implementation of the Investment, an IT infrastructure will be provided to enable the application of the most up-to-date engineering practices for design, presentation and approval of investment projects in a BIM environment. Also, with the implementation of this investment, the capacity of the participants in the design and construction to work in a BIM environment will be increased, as well as it will contribute to the creation of the normative conditions for the introduction of BIM in the design, approval, implementation, control and operation of constructions, and modernisation of the construction sector in accordance with European priorities and standards.The key deliverables of this investment are:A website with online courses and materials for online training for experts from the private sector shall be created.300 workstations with the necessary hardware and software for the implementation of BIM for the municipal, regional and state administration.Specialised trainings to 300 experts in the state administration to work with BIM.
