Children's Clinical University Hospital in Riga is implementing several RRF financed projects. The most significant of which concerns the recently constructed new building of the Emergency Medical Center and Ambulatory Health Center. Medical and care facilities for EMC services have been expanded to streamline patient flow, minimize waiting times, and ensure effective staff operations. The new layout follows epidemiological standards and has 31 single-patient rooms for privacy and safety, offering a calm environment for patients and accompanying persons.

Infection Unit Reconstruction and Connection to the Hospital's Multifunctional Building: This project involves creating a direct pathway between the Infection Unit and the hospital's diagnostic center, ensuring safe and weather-protected patient transport for examinations.

Complete Reconstruction of the Hospital’s Main Entrance: The redesign includes self-registration and waiting areas for patients and staff. Spaces currently used for observation will be repurposed for subacute rehabilitation services.

Full Remodeling of the Inpatient Ward 5 into Single-Patient Rooms: This includes modernizing neurology, neurosurgery, and nephrology units to meet current patient-centered standards. The renovation will feature five family rooms (allowing parents to stay with children), 16 single-patient rooms, two infection isolation rooms, and two intensive care units.
