Examples of investments at local level: Pilot project of the elaboration of the Local Action Plan of the Spanish Urban Agendain Sarrià de Ter (Girona) The project “2030, Amb tu transformem Sarrià de Ter” was born in the context of the Local Action Plan of the Urban Agenda of this municipality of 5,229 inhabitants in the province of Girona. It aims at a more human, sustainable, inclusive, participatory and transparent municipality. Through four participatory sessions open to citizens, workshops with young people and the virtual space “Decidim” (We decide) 113 proposals were collected. They have been translated into 16 strategic programs and 53 specific future actions for the municipality. The Urban Agenda of Sarrià will allow for actions in 6 areas of transformation: the reorganisation of the central urban space of the municipality, the transformation of the N-II road as it passes through Sarrià as a cohesive urban axis, the urban transformation of the Paperera area, the adaptation of the polygons of economic activity or the positioning of Sarrià as a green municipality. The methodology used for the elaboration of this Local Urban Agenda will serve as good practice for municipalities of similar dimensions.
