The investment aims to promote the renewal and digitalisation of services and production in the cultural and creative sectors. The structural support aims to develop innovative services and operating models that create a stronger future for the sectors and allow the companies, corporate entities and other operators of the cultural and creative sectors adjust their activities to changing circumstances that are difficult to predict. In addition, the structural support aims to boost internationalisation and promote the digital transition of the ecosystems of the cultural and creative sectors. All investments are to be complited by 31 December 2025. In total EU 1.55 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility was granted to Gramex for two stages of the ISNI project. The goal of the first stage of the project is to acquire a comprehensive range of ISNIs for the rightholders represented by various CMOs (Copyright Management Organisations). The key goals of the second stage include the effective and up-to-date distribution and use of ISNIs (International Standard Name Identifiers) in the copyright sector, the improvement of the quality of contributor metadata, and the development of a long-term vision for a national ISNI ecosystem.
