The purpose of the investment is to take advantage of the development potential of the strategic raw material (wood) in the revitalization of the economy after the Covid-19 crisis and to accelerate the transition to a climate-neutral society with greater use of wooden products, which are made from a natural renewable material with a negative carbon footprint. The key goals of the investment are the increase in production capacity and the introduction of new products. The project includes the construction of new facilities in the Straža industrial zone to increase production capacity, a planer sorting line, a line for longitudinal joining of elements and an extraction system. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides EUR 3.4 million of funding to the project worth EUR 6.8 million in total. The project started in March 2022.
