The objective of the reform, which was completed by 31 March 2023, is to ensure access to general medical care, improve the continuity of treatment and make provision of primary health care more flexible and human centered. The reform consists of 3 sub-measures: extension of e-consultation in primary care, increasing the level of support for general practitioners in remote areas and extending the rights of nurses to prescribe medicines to patients.
