Given that the current capacity for investigating economic crimes is hindered by insufficient human resources and technical equipment, investment 6.2.1.2.i will result in the development and approval of a progress report on strengthening the capacity for investigating economic crimes and implementing recommendations for the development of the State Police, along with an implementation progress plan approved by the State Police. This will ensure the long-term efficiency of investigating the proceeds of crime, increasing the proportion of criminal cases forwarded for prosecution by 40% by the beginning of 2025, and increasing the proportion of detected environmental crime cases. Additionally, investigators will be provided with the necessary technical equipment for procedural actions, mobile and remote working conditions, including for regional units, as well as organized training in the field of economic and environmental crimes.
