Copyright: Municipality of Velenje The project aims to: reduce electricity costs, increase energy independence, reduce CO2 emissions, promote environmental sustainability and sustainable development, establish a good practice model, strengthen the sense of belonging to the local community, educate and raise awareness among the population, reduce energy poverty and stimulate the local economy.The project will achieve these aims through the installation of 5 individual and 19 group self-supply systems with a total installed capacity of 6,126.53 kWp (6,127.00 kWp) and an estimated annual production of 6,519,133.47 kWh at public facilities in the municipalities of Velenje, Celje, Ptuj, Cirkulane, Šoštanj, Mislinja, Šmartno ob Paki.The Recovery and Resilience Facility contributes EUR 4.5 million to the investment worth EUR 7.4 million in total.
