Sodražica - Ensuring a safe living environment for dependent persons

In the Sodražica unit, DSO Grosuplje will provide a safe living environment for people who are dependent on the help of others.

The new facility will accommodate 24 people, of whom 12 places will be for people with dementia and 12 places for people in need of care.

Community services will be provided, such as a day centre, temporary accommodation, home help for families and an intergenerational centre to enable integration with the local community.

The building will be constructed on five floors, with a total area of 1,984.84 m2 . A car park will be located next to the building.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 2.9 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 3.9 million. 

The project started in June 2023 and will be finalised by June 2026.
