Social and cooperative housing in the old Depunt factory in Igualada

La Torreta Igualada SCCL' housing cooperative will rehabilitate an old textile factory called Depunt, built in 1950 and which is part of the Generalitat's architectural catalogue.

The reform foresees the construction of 12 flexible and adaptable housing units to the current and future needs of the tenants.

It will also include exclusive spaces for the community, such as a living room and library, a laundry room, a community roof and a warehouse.

There will also be shared spaces for both the community and the neighborhood, such as a multipurpose room with a kitchen and dining room, a parking lot for bicycles and commercial premises that will host a co-working space and the rental to an entity of the social and solidarity economy.
