Smart Control System Connected Nereide 3 - Co-financing of research innovation projects in support of green transition and digitalisation

The aim of the RRI project is to develop a smart control system up to TRL 9 level, ready for industrial production. The project is being carried out by Simarine d.o.o. in consortium with Sentinel Labs d.o.o.

The functional smart control system will consist of several adaptive components that together form a whole (control unit). The unit will be able to be operated and controlled in one place, either locally or remotely, including solving and detecting potential problems. The system will also be connected to the key standards of the markets concerned (CAN, CI-BUS, NMEA2000), which enables the integration and operation of other devices connected to these networks. 

The development of a smart control system is currently at TRL 5 level, as theoretical simulations of system use are made and confirm execution, laboratory integration and assembly tests are made in a simulated environment.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 232,691, while the total value of the investment is EUR 535,795. 

The project started in November 2022 and will be completed by November 2024.
