Sewage system Lože - Manče - Urban waste water discharge and treatment projects

With the implementation of the investment, the Municipality of Vipava improved the waste water discharge and treatment system in the settlments Manča and Lože and contributed to the conservation of Natura 2000 and water protection areas.

7,083 m new sewers and two new pumping stations were built, which significantly improved the wastewater drainage and treatment system.

An energy-neutral system was put in place to prevent environmental pollution from urban waste water and to improve the quality of housing for the population.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 1 million, while the total value of the investment was EUR 2.2 million. 

The project started in October 2023 and was finalised in December 2024.
