Roll-out and pilot consulting projects on school IT - Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis

This reform’s objective is to improve the IT infrastructure in schools.

Moreover, this measure entails expanding consulting services, for school authorities to foster the digital transformation of schools.

These services are executed by PD – Berater der öffentlichen Hand GmbH, a public sector consulting firm owned mostly by the federal state and the Länder.

They provide guidance to different cities and counties, focusing among others on the provision of hardware, roll-out of software, and construction of network infrastructure.

This supports the digital development of schools, enabling them to adapt to the changing needs of education in the future.

In the course of this measure also a study on the state of school IT with recommendations for future action has been conducted.
