RIAC Movel

This service is provided by a RIAC (Agência para a Modernização e Qualidade do Serviço ao Cidadão) team that travels in an electric vehicle, technologically equipped for this purpose, enabling personalised service at the homes of citizens with reduced mobility or who are bedridden, as well as in nursing homes, day centres, and for institutionalised individuals in correctional facilities.

It brings them the means to use public services, such as renewing their Citizen Card or Portuguese Electronic Passport.

The project is part of a measure on the ""Digital transition of the public administration in Azores"" and received EUR 909 000 under the Portuguese RRP.
