Copyright: Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia The goal of the investment is to ensure 400 additional public rental apartments, out of which 60 serviced care homes. The investment comprises four nearly zero-energy buildings that will facilitate optimal living comfort with low energy consumption. This is ensured by an efficient thermal envelope, protection from the sun, ventilation and the option to install air conditioning devices. There will also be an installation for electric car chargers and a pre-installation for a solar power plant. The buildings are surrounded by green surfaces and playgrounds, with walking trails and an exercise area for adults and seniors. The total value of the investment is EUR 57,47 million, with Recovery and Resilience Facility funding of EUR 22,94 million. The investor, the Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, acquired a building permit in October 2019. The works were finalised by mid-2022 and the operational permit was acquired in September 2022.First residents are expected to move into the new apartments in the beginning of 2023, following a public call for rental. The neighbourhood will also provide space for a nursery, an activity day centre for senior citizens and a centre for people with special needs.Additional links:https://ssrs.si/projekti/maribor/predstavitev-soseske/https://ssrs.si/noo-ceb-projekti/noo-projekti/pod-pekrsko-groco-1-faza-mb/https://ssrs.si/noo-ceb-projekti/noo-projekti/pod-pekrsko-groco-2-faza-mb/https://www.gov.si/en/news/2022-09-27-completion-of-buildings-in-the-pod-pekrsko-gorco-neighbourhood-in-maribor/Top 100 recipients:Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, projects:Residential Neighbourhood Pod Pekrsko GorcoServiced Housing Units Rogaška Slatina – Kidričeva ulicaServiced apartments Harpf in Slovenj GradecApartments in Spodnje Preloge in Slovenske KonjicePurchase of apartments in Sveta AnaApartments in Šmarje pri Jelšah Copyright: Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia Copyright: Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia Copyright: Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia ReferenceC4.K3.IB in the SI Recovery and Resilience PlanProject locations Slovenia EU contribution€22 940 000 Project websitehttps://ssrs.si/projekti/maribor/...
