Mission 4 – Component 1 - Investment 1.1: Plan for nurseries and preschools and early childhood education and care servicesItaly’s Recovery and Resilience Plan includes an investment plan for the 0-6 age group, aimed at increasing the supply of childcare facilities by building, renovating and ensuring the safety of nurseries and preschools, to ensure an increase in the educational offer and the available slots for the 0-6 age group, and thus improve teaching quality.The measure is expected to encourage women’s participation in the labour market and support caregivers in reconciling family and professional life.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 3.2 billion.The project aimed at improving the kindergarten in Via Pigna is part of this investment.The project is aimed at seismic adaptation, functional, energy and plant redevelopment for the creation of a Kindergarten.It will consist of two sections: Infants and Divezzi.The conversion of the currently unused nursery school spaces, is aimed at activating supplementary services that contribute to the education of children and meet the needs of families in a flexible and diversified structural and organizational.The change of use, from Childhood to Kindergarten, aims to improve the educational offer from early childhood and offer concrete help to families.The Kindergarten will be organized and sized according to Ministerial and Regional Standards.The building reflects the most common building techniques of the period in which it was built: the supporting structure is of type framed in c.a. and brick infill.The facilities will be adapted and overhauled, in compliance with the specific provisions of fire prevention.The outdoor spaces adjacent to the ground floor are fully fenced and organized for outdoor activities.The garden is a large and rich context of trees and greenery, delimited and protected.The total amount is EUR 632,969.Status: In progress.
