Reconstruction of the sawmill and purchase of related equipment - Increasing wood processing to accelerate the transition to a climate-neutral society

The main objectives of the project are:

1. the establishment of a new sawmill plant with a drying room,
2. expansion of production,
3. providing own raw materials for the production of energy-saving prefabricated houses,
4. energy thermal subsistence of the company with renewable energy sources,
5. increased domestic timber processing and a faster transition to a climate-neutral society.

The project activities include:

1. reconstruction and construction of existing facilities: sawmill and machine working wood, drying room with heating plant, log warehouse, sawn wood warehouse, waste material warehouse,
2. purchase of new machinery and equipment: sawmill lines, two drying rooms, technological suing and telescopic loader,
3. the layout of the surroundings,
4. digitisation of logistics, production, quality and purchasing.

The project started in February 2022 and will be finalised in October 2023.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1 million.
