Realization of municipal kindergarten in Via Marconi

Plan for nurseries and preschools and early childhood education and care services (Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 1.1)

Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan includes an investment plan for the 0-6 age group, aimed at increasing the supply of childcare facilities by building, renovating and ensuring the safety of nurseries and preschools, to ensure an increase in the educational offer and the available slots for the 0-6 age group, and thus improve teaching quality.

The measure is expected to encourage women’s participation in the labour market and support caregivers in reconciling family and professional life.

The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 3.2 billion.

The project involving the construction of a municipal pre-school in Via Marconi is part of this investment.

The construction will happen through the construction of a new structure on a single floor parallel to this road and in front of the municipal gym at the entrance of the town.

The building is spread over a single level and has a total gross floor area of about 462.00 square meters.

The kindergarten is divided into 3 sections with a capacity of 55 children, age between 3 and 36 months.

The plan of the new kindergarten is composed of n.

4 blocks, that of the sections placed to the south-west, that of connection to the north-east that includes the free activities, the block placed to the north-east with independent access from the outside that provides services for the canteen and finally a block to the northwest including services and the main access with the porch.
