The main purpose of the project is to develop and upgrade museum, cultural and educational content based on the rich heritage of forestry and sustainable forest management in the Drava Valley and the wider Carinthia region.

The municipality of Radlje ob Dravi will comprehensively restore the Radlje Manor. The renovation, which includes reconstruction, extension and change of use, will make the manor a central place for the presentation and interpretation of sustainable forest management (sustainable forestry cultural heritage) and a meeting point for the local community, hikers, the professional public and tourists. In addition to the main exhibition spaces, the mansion also houses a tea room and the offices and depots of the Carinthian Regional Museum.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility contributes EUR 1.7 million  to the investment worth EUR 2.6 million in total. The project started in November 2022 and should be finalised by October 2025.
