Copyright: Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia The objective of the investment is to increase public rental housing by constructing or renovating 480 housing units all across the country.The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 60 million, with 50% co-funding of the individual project.The call for project proposals was published on 11 April 2022 by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning. Out of 43 project applications submitted, 34 projects were selected for co-funding, ensuring a total of 1,036 new/renovated public rental apartments.When ranking the project proposals, the highest-scoring were the ones that provided the most energy-efficient construction.
