Provision of methodological management in the field of oncology

The aim is to provide methodological guidance in the field of oncology, which includes:

1) the establishment and preparation of the Latvian Cancer Centre for accreditation, promoting uniform management and methodical management of the field of oncology treatment and care, as well as the establishment of a network between hospitals specialising in the treatment and care of oncological patients;

2) the establishment and introduction of single pathways for oncological patients for specific types of tumours in Latvia in accordance with the standards specified by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes;

3) development of guidelines for the development of oncology infrastructure in cancer treatment and care facilities.
