The Pere Martell Institute in Tarragona in the field of automotive, the School of Labor Institute in Lleida, and the Pau Casesnoves CIFP in Inca in the renewable energy sector, the School of Labor in Barcelona specialized in automated manufacturing; the Francesc de Borja Moll CIFP in Palma in the healthcare sector, and the Juníper Serra CIFP, also in Palma, in the tourism field, will receive €5,878,814 from the NextGenerationEU funds to promote a project for the implementation of the new vocational training model in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands and will serve as benchmarks at the national level in their respective professional fields for other centers.

These vocational training institutes, each with its own unique work plan, will collaborate with companies, research centers, unions, and the third sector, and promote the digital and methodological transformation of their spaces and teams.

For example, they will create technological classrooms and educational simulators using augmented and virtual reality, conduct teacher training activities in various sectors from other centers and autonomous communities, develop innovation and research projects, and incorporate state-of-the-art technology and networked work.

These centers are part of the State Network of Centers of Excellence in Vocational Training, which includes fifty centers representing the entire country in the 14 vocational training families.
