The goal of the development of the T-2 Smart Cities Platform is to develop and integrate the use of the latest technologies into a platform for connecting smart cities and communities. The project, carried out by the consortium with partners Solviks d.o.o., Flycom Technologies d.o.o. and T-2 d.o.o. as lead partner, aims to speed up the upgrade of the digital environment for business, industry, the public sector and local communities.The T-2 Smart Cities platform will be built by integrating advanced Internet of Things (IoT) sensor technology, car-sharing systems and citizen connectivity platforms. With the T-2 Smart Cities platform, individual municipalities will automatically communicate with their citizens via a mobile app, which will also provide the user with real-time information about events and potential problems in their community. Creating polls, events, news, monitoring traffic, parking occupancy or air quality sensors will be done in a single, user-friendly interface.An important part of the T-2 Smart Cities platform will be an information sharing system that will allow managers and users to benefit from information gathered through mobile and web applications. The implementation of this system will encourage the general public to use public services on a daily basis and will help to add more value for the end user. To provide citizens with a superior user experience, the system will encourage them to use the internet, TV (IPTV) and multimedia applications through all available channels (Omni Channel).The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 2.2 million.
