The pilot project consists in the installation on the main irrigation channels, rehabilitated, under the administration of ANIF, of energy production facilities through photovoltaic plants with an installed power of 20 MW – 25,000 MWh of energy produced. The resulting green energy will be used for the self-consumption of the pumping-repumping stations under the administration of the National Land Improvement Agency, so at least 80% of the energy produced will be used for their operation, throughout the life of the investment.
