Overhaul, introduction of measures energy efficiency and measures for accessible environment of Yordan Yovkov Primary School - Varna

The aim of the project, financed with EUR 2,3 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, is implementation of measures for physical environment and energy efficiency modernization in Yordan Yovkov PS Varna. 

The project also aims to meet the needs of providing a suitable and cost-effective educational infrastructure.

Changes in the teaching methodology and process require clear definition and adequate reflection in the creation of a new learning environment that meets the needs and trends in the development of adolescents. 

The renewal of the building fund of the educational institution guarantees the maintenance of high quality and efficiency of the entire educational process, in accordance with the requirements of the National Education and Training Program, Europe 2020, as well as all sub-normative acts, in order to meet the challenges of the time in which we live.

The project aims to create conditions for equal access to education by building a favorable, inclusive, innovative, supportive and motivating educational environment. In order to ensure the overall and renewed appearance and create more attractive conditions for learning and activities of the interests of the learners, a complete renovation will be carried out, construction of installations using alternative energy sources, new heating, ventilation and air conditioning installation, replacement of water and sewage installation of the building stock, etc. creating conditions for applying innovative methods for education, socialization and development of learners, including through the built STEM.

The main activities include construction and assembly works end realization of construction and author's supervision of the object of intervention.

With the results of the project, the efforts made by the Ministry of Education and Culture to transform the educational institutions into a modern environment, contributing to the improvement of educational results and the motivation to learn and to the implementation of the complex educational reform in the country, are implemented.
