Copyright: Slovak government The Slovak Recovery and Resilience Plan includes a decarbonisation scheme for the industrial sector and the related investments aim to lower greenhouse gas emissions in enterprises through a higher uptake of innovative environmental technologies. On 25 November 2022, the Slovak Ministry of the Environment announced a call for proposals aimed at the decarbonisation of industry with a total allocation of EUR 357 million (open until 20 January 2023), fully financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The completion of all industry decarbonisation projects is expected by June 2026, delivering a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions of at least a 1.2 Mt of CO2 equivalent.
