New Homes in Funchal

In July 2025, Funchal city council handed over 33 news homes under the "Support Programme for Access to Housing", i.e. social housing.

The investment is worth EUR 4.4 million financed by the RRP. This is the first of five projects that will total 176 new apartments in the municipality.

After Nazaré Park, the Funchal executive is preparing to intervene in Bairro da Ponte (23 dwellings), Quinta das Freiras (71 dwellings), Penha de França (32 dwellings) and two projects in São Pedro (17 dwellings).
