Plan for nurseries and preschools and early childhood education and care services (Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 1.1)Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan includes an investment plan for the 0-6 age group, aimed at increasing the supply of childcare facilities by building, renovating and ensuring the safety of nurseries and preschools, to ensure an increase in the educational offer and the available slots for the 0-6 age group, and thus improve teaching quality. The measure is expected to encourage women’s participation in the labour market and support caregivers in reconciling family and professional life.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 3.2 billion.The construction of the Nursery School in Via Monte Cremasco is part of this investment.The project was designed to ensure structural and sanitary quality through:- sustainability principle: efficient and environmentally sustainable materials will be used, in line with the requirements for building materials in the green building sector;- quality of design: a stimulating environment for learners will be fostered on a formative and pedagogical level;- organisation with differentiated routes: indoor and outdoor spaces will ensure maximum accessibility of the facility;- speed of execution and sustainable maintenance plan: realisation of the building quickly and guaranteed durability through modular systems.The project includes the use of green building materials and passive heating and cooling systems to achieve a significant reduction in energy consumption.This project is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility with EUR 842.400,00.
