National Satellite Information System

As part of the development and operation of the NSIS, monitoring services based on Earth observation satellite data are being developed and will be operationally delivered and maintained. The system will support the development of the Polish space sector by stimulating the downstream segment. 

As a result, the sector’s competencies, demonstrated through the execution of orders for government administration needs, will be further expanded towards products and services for industrial and individual clients (B2B, B2C). In the longer term, NSIS, combined with Polish constellations of observational satellites and the high-level IT competencies of the Polish workforce, has the potential to contribute to economic growth based on downstream products and services for non-space markets.
