National Plan for accomodation in higher education

Castelo Branco Polytechnic will construct and renovate student housing as part of a measure to help to reduce the costs of students, with a particular focus on the most socially and economically vulnerable students.

The overall investment provides 18 000 new and renovated beds across Portugal.

In Castelo Branco, a new student residence will be built on the Talagueira Campus, where the Dr. Lopes Dias Higher Schools of Technology, Arts and Health are located and will consist of 152 new beds, distributed across 78 rooms. 

One residence will be renovated relating to 208 beds distributed across two wings, of which 200 beds will be associated with 100 double rooms and 8 beds with single rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility.
