The National Oncological Programme 2030 is a reference document that analyses the current status of oncological care in Czechia and establishes the main objectives to be achieved by 2030.

These objectives include the prevention of cancer-related diseases, establishing a care system centred on the patient, ensuring proper coordination between actors and supporting high standard equipment, well trained personnel and access to innovative research.

The Programme is in line with the priorities set out in the Europe's Beating Cancer Plan and is being implemented by the National Council for the Implementation of the National Oncological Programme.

This should ensure a coordinated approach to cancer treatment and open the way for more investments in cancer facilities, many of which are also financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (for example, the Czech Oncology Institute, developing the regional oncology centers, and new facilities at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute).

The Programme’s strategy and action plan have already been adopted.
