Copyright: Aglomsa The NextGenerationEU funds will enable the adaptation of Aglomsa's asphalt plant, which is already the first in the Balearic Islands to eliminate fossil fuels, to recover and reuse material. With a subsidy of 282,515 euros from NextGenerationEU funds, the company will adjust its facilities to crush, classify, and store reclaimed asphalt. The aim is to incorporate the resulting material from this management process into the production process of recycled asphalt mix. This improvement involves the reuse of part of the pavement extracted during road renovations, resulting in a decrease in carbon footprint and progress towards safer and more sustainable road transportation.
