This project is part of an investment called More study places in regional adult vocational education.
The aim of this investment shall be for more people to obtain vocational training at upper secondary level and hence be able to get a job.
The investment is expected to improve matching in the labour market and boost employment in the long term.
The measure shall be a temporary reinforcement of the existing Knowledge Boost, which provides vocational programmes for adults at upper secondary level.
It can be combined with Swedish for Immigrants or Swedish as a second language.
The municipality of Luleå received a RRF grant of 0.9 million EUR for this project (9 million SEK, ECB exchange rate of plan submission on 28 May 2021).
The project is on-going.
