The project, financed with EUR 1,3 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facilit, concerns the creation of a modern, safe and favorable environment, contributing to the improvement of educational results and the motivation for learning of the students in Secondary school "Vasil Levski" Byala Slatina by means of carrying out of complete repair and renovation of the building.The main material and technical educational infrastructure in the school is in a bad condition, which accordingly affects the quality of the educational results. Therefore, there is a strong need for interventions in the physical environment, and it is precisely this need - for the overall development of quality educational conditions and modernization of the educational environment, that will be satisfied with the implementation of the project.The realization of the objectives of the investment proposal, as well as the relevant activities and measures that are planned for implementation, will allow the creation of a modern inclusive educational environment and infrastructure supporting learning.With the implementation of the project, the direct educational environment (classrooms, learning spaces, library, gym) will be repaired and renovated and the necessary infrastructure for a STEM environment will be allocated, as part of the overall modernization of the school. The project mainly includes activities for carrying out major repairs and complete renovation of the building of secondary school, delivery and installation of equipment. In view of the important importance of the education sector for the national policy in Bulgaria, as well as due to its territorial dimension, given the goals of ensuring equal access through the renovation of the educational infrastructure, the implementation of the project will contribute to their achievement and development of the sector.
