Modernization of Educational Infrastructure in Stefan Karadja Primary School, Dobrich

The project, financed with EUR 1,25 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, foresees major repair and renewal of Stefan Karadza Primary School building and schoolyard, aiming to achieve totally renovated outlook of the institution and up to date conditions for education in equally accessible environment. 

Access of people with disabilities to the building and inside it will be improved. 

Measure for energy efficiency, which are part of the chosen package of the Energy Performance Certificate, prepared in accordance to art. 48 of the Energy Efficiency Act, will be fulfilled as well as the mandatory measures from the technical inspection and certification report.

204 students were enrolled in this school during 2021-2022 school year. 

The school is ranked in group Four of non-specialized schools with respect to the criteria of the Methodology for Prioritization of the Educational Infrastructure on the Territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

204 students from grade 1 to 7, 24 in that number with special educational needs, 21 children in the preparatory groups and 35 staff members (2021-2022 school year) are target groups.

By implementing the activities, a modern and comfortable environment for the teaching process will be achieved, providing equal access for all students and paying respect to ecological requirement for energy saving and diminishing harmful emission into the environment.
