The project "Modernization of the educational environment - St. Paisii Hilendarski Primary School in G.Oryahovitsa" aims:to provide conditions for equal access to education by creating a favorable, inclusive, innovative, energy-efficient, supportive and motivating educational and working environment for students and staff in the school;to achieve a reduction of harmful emissions;to include students from marginalized communities.The implementation of the project proposal will improve the conditions for learning activities and care for adolescents of the following target groups: 166 number of students, as of them: in the primary stage: 85 ;in the lower secondary stage - 81;disadvantaged students with SEN - 17 ;students of Roma origin: 164 number of students: in the primary stage - 85;in the lower secondary stage - 79 number of students and the school staff, which is 26 people: 19-pedagogical and 7-non-pedagogical staff - 1 of Roma origin/.Since the commissioning of the building in the 1960s only minor repairs have been carried out. The educational process is carried out under poor sanitary and hygienic conditions of the premises and insufficient heating, accompanied by large heat losses. The building is energy class 'F'. It is necessary to realize energy-saving measures related to the replacement of windows, thermal insulation of roofs, repair of existing heating and electrical installations, and after the implementation of the energy measures it is expected that the building will move to class "B". There is no accessible environment in the building. It is planned to bring it into line with accessibility requirements.The expected result of the project proposal is the creation of a favorable, contemporary educational environment that will contribute to improving the quality and learning conditions of the students.
