Modernisation of psychiatric care

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides EUR 19 million for the modernisatio of psychiatric care in Bulgaria.

The objective of the investment is to improve the conditions for hospitalised patients, improving the outdated equipment and infrastructures of some facilities providing psychiatric care.

The measure consists of renovating and equipping facilities providing psychiatric care.

Renovation works will be carried out for 18 medical facilities providing psychiatric care.

Additionally, equipment and furniture for a total of 25 medical facilities providing psychiatric care shall be supplied.

The implementation of the investment is expected to be completed by 30 June 2025.
