The project, financed with EUR 1,27 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, envisages the modernisation, introduction of energy-saving measures and provision of an accessible environment in the school building of the "Lyuben Karavelov" Primary School in Peshtera. "Lyuben Karavelov" primary school is a unified school and educates Roma children from the two Roma neighborhoods in the town of Peshtera. The school educates 285 students from the primary and junior high school stages in general education day form. The students from VIII to X classes, a total of 100, study the professions - Zavarchik, Strugar, Shoemaker, Tailor, with a three-year training period.The total number of students in the school is 285 and 60 staff members. The building of "Lyuben Karavelov" Primary School is located in UPI I, quarter 159 according to the plan of the town of Peshtera.The property has an area of 5420 sq.m. according to the cadastral map. The building consists of 2 bodies - an old and a new building, a building with a gym and a building with workshops and a dining room. The building with a gym is not the object of the current investment proposal. The Municipality of Peshtera applied with full project readiness - Technical project with all parts, Report on EC of the building, Report on survey of technical characteristics of the building, Technical passport, Issued construction permission etc. according to the requirements of this procedure.The construction and assembly works provided for in the technical project apply to all parts of the building. The implementation activities are included in the selected package of energy-saving measures in the Energy Survey Report and provide for the improvement of the building's energy efficiency to energy consumption class "A".
