Modernisation of infrastructure and digitalisation in higher education institutions

The aim of the project is the comprehensive renewal of Gábor Dénes University's educational programs and infrastructure. Within the framework of the project, in response to economic and social needs, technological advancements, and the demand for practice-oriented education, new educational programs will be developed. 

This includes the creation of modern and innovative teaching workshops and laboratories, the acquisition of tools, software, licenses, and databases necessary for the quality modernization of education, as well as the development of students’, faculty members’, and staff’s skills and competencies. Additionally, activities aimed at the internationalization of the institution will also be undertaken.

The mission of Gábor Dénes University is to enrich the national knowledge base by offering competitive knowledge and marketable degrees through its programs, and to serve society with high-quality activities. A related objective is to provide practice-oriented education and training in fields such as IT, economics, and engineering, aligned with the needs of modern times and the socio-economic environment. The planned investments and developments will fully contribute to the achievement of these goals.

The project will be implemented at Gábor Dénes University's campuses in Budapest between August 2022 and April 2026. 

The non-refundable grant amount: EUR 5.2 million.
