Modernisation of the educational environment in kindergarten "Sun" - Popovo, through major repairs, renovation and equipment in the main and additional building, Razgrad

Financed with EUR 1,02 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the project "Modernisation of the educational environment in DG "Sun" - town of Popovo, aims to provide conditions for quality care in early childhood and early childhood and preschool education in the headquarters of the childcare center, as part of the educational infrastructure in Popovo Municipality, through the implementation of a complex of measures to build an energy-efficient, innovative, modernised, supportive and motivating educational environment.

The implementation of the project proposal will contribute to the achievement of the goals of the National Development Program Bulgaria 2030, Priority 1 "Education and Skills", will contribute to the achievement of the goals set in priority 4 "Circular and low-carbon economy", priority "Clean air and biodiversity", as well as the goals and measures laid down in the "Plan for Integrated Development of Popovo Municipality" for the period 2021-2027.

A comprehensive modernisation and rehabilitation of all structural elements provided for in the object of intervention - the buildings of DG "Slantse" - main and additional and the adjacent environment is planned. 

During the implementation of the project activities, all energy-saving measures will be implemented, according to the package in the Certificate for the energy characteristics of the building, prepared in accordance with Art. 88 of the ZEE.

The project for the implementation of investments foresees the following activities, with the aim of comprehensive modernization of the educational environment in DG "Sun"

1: Major repair, reconstruction and basic renovation of the preschool educational environment in the main and additional building to acquire a complete renewed look of the educational institution.

2: Delivery and installation of equipment and furniture for the buildings and premises of the kindergarten.
