The project, financed with EUR 0,6 million from the Recovery and Resilience Faciity, covers the complete modernization of “Brezitsa” kindergarten in Breznik.The main goal is to improve the level of energy efficiency with the following energy saving measures:Heat isolation of the outer wallsReplacement of old windows with new together with hybrid ventilation systems on the windows for the reduction of the infiltration lossesHeat isolation of the roofsModernization of the heating system with the implementation of high air efficient heat pump for utilization of aerothermal renewable energyModernization of the heating system with the implementation of system for automation and monitoring of the energy consumption in the buildingImplementation of photovoltaic system for own consumption needsIn addition to the ESM, the project proposal also includes measures that aim for:Improvement of the educational environment with the replacement of the floors, refurbishment of the rooms and repair works on the current toiletsRefurbishment of the ceilings with the installation of false ceilingModernization of the lighting system with the usage of high- efficiency LED lamps for covering the requiremntsAfter the implementation of the activities the school will achieve energy class A and will cover all of the UpToDate norms in the field of the energy efficiency.Additional links:https://2020.eufunds.bg/… ReferenceC1.I2Project locations Bulgaria EU contribution€600 000 Project websiteModernisation of educational infrastructure
