Project to enhance the value of local production in the municipality of Mértola.

It forms part of the Mértola Food Network process and reflects the territory’s commitment to promoting healthy eating, inspired by the principles of the Mediterranean Diet and guided by the values of prosperity and the regeneration of natural ecosystems, social structures, and cultures.

This approach to food is based on proximity, valuing local producers, respecting the seasonality of products, and prioritising short supply chains.
