Mechanical and biological treatment of municipal waste. Improvement of waste management infrastructure

This NextGenerationEU project aims to enhance municipal waste management in Catalonia, focusing on improving treatment infrastructure to meet new EU waste management goals.

Projects include:

• Organic waste treatment facilities for selective collection.
• Infrastructure for preparing and recycling various selectively collected waste streams.
• Upgrades to existing mechanical and biological treatment facilities.
• These initiatives aim to improve infrastructure and implement efficient technologies for sustainable waste management.
